FROST. 1st and 2nd OF JULY 2020

Two consecutive days of heavy frost and the first real frost for this winter, it stayed until late morning.

We use frost cloth primarily to protect our young citrus trees

The day before was very windy so frost cloth was a bit messy and touching the plants, I need to re attach.
People always  look at me funny when I go on about how excited I am about the frost and how I tally up the hours of frost, dreaming about my berries and fruit trees, breaking nasty disease cycles and how good it can be for soil structure.

 This would have been a radiative frost cold still night no inversion layer , temperature at soil level is the same as dew point,when both bellow freezing frost will occur. Hope we get some more.
